The Amazing Human Voice

The magical first time you hear a singer at a Broadway show
The comfort of a mother’s gentle lullaby
A child’s wail or a mournful song
Laughter

These are the unforgettable sounds of human emotion that rise out of us when there is nothing else to say. Each has its own indefinable sound. We know it when we hear it. It needs no translation.

Why do we sing? We sing because nothing else so completely expresses the full range of human emotion. Vocal expression is unlike any other natural sound in our world.

We, as parents, friends and families of singers, support, love, appreciate, and celebrate these singing artists, because we understand that behind each individual voice, there is a deep and profound expression of that unique gift.

Kathryn Amyotte develops her singing students into complete singing musicians. Her principles of professionalism, support, focused training, and enthusiasm help students build artistry, confidence, physical strength, and emotional resilience. A trained voice opens up new possibilities of expression. When you have a trained voice, you can speak up for yourself. You can take control of your own life...

It’s that important.
